What it's actually like
What it's like to join
You go up to Level 2, change your shoes and join the circle for the beginner class - for the first half hour everyone is a beginner and the group rotates partners constantly, so you will have danced with ten people before you have time to feel awkward. After 20:30 the floor opens: ask someone if you want to dance, or sit and watch.
